Like always, we are greeted with a scene of a dimly lit, stale environment, inside of what appears to be a keep- in the center is a long sofa... to the left of it was a roaring fireplace... and to the left of that a tall mirror ornamented with unusual glyphs around its red mahogany frame. Some time passes until the mirror's reflective surface sends ripples, distorting the reflection of its environment... and softly, yet hauntingly, the form of Darkspade is seen seated, with his right leg crossed over his left, re-materializing in the reflection.

The view then shifts slowly to Darkspade's front; his eyes are fixated on a glass of blood wine seated at the edge of the coffee table in front of him.

Darkspade reaches to grab the wine, leans back, and is about to take a sip when suddenly a woman storms into the room, right by the mirror, and gives him a long, inquisitive, even disappointed stare.

????: Errh! Bloody hell, Dad... where the FUCK have you been all of this time!!! Every single night, you are gone....

Darkspade rolls his eyes into the back of his head —a sign of disdain. He answers while taking a long, drawn-out sip of his wine.

DS: Charon. Listen. Not every single day do we have to devote all of our time and effort to this fucking mess of a world....

**Charon folds her arms and stares at the mirror**

Charon Death: I get it, Dad. This sucks with the war and all, but this is equivalent to an obsession- you and that damn artifact. It takes you somewhere. Ever since Obed Marsh left it here, you have been using it, haven't you? So... where the fuck do you go?!

DS: Okay, fine. It is a multi-verse, I am not a SHOOT Wrestler for a company, and I am scaring the SHIT out of everybody!!! It's thrilling... it brings me back to the past when my unholy ministry kicked DX's lame ass and...

**Charon does a brisk walk and then SLAPPPPPPPPPP her father across the face, causing him to drop what was left of his glass of wine on the Persian carpet beneath his feet....

Charon Death: JUST.... STOP IT.... Always living in the past - this is the current reality. We need to stop. Remember her? The Angel of Death? Right.... and remember the Oracle, your daughter? She bloody demands that you summon her so that she could open the Gates of the Apocalypse.... :: Darkspade looks like he is bored and more concerned about his wine:: oh gawd.... ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?

Image
DS: And there is this one kid, Rickey Tenet, heh.... I can feel his fear... almost like an intoxicating high... I CAN'T WAI....

**Charon shakes her head**
Image
Charon: Wait until what? You bombard him with a billion catchphrases.... Look, whatever, I do not really care what mess you got yourself into traveling into this world, but you have responsibilities here that you cannot overlook.... I know your dad; you get too carried away. Just promise me that you remain safe.

Darkspade was partial to what Charon was stressing about when Darkspade's iPhone lit up on the table. Apparently, it could receive signals through the mirror, and the SHOOT Project app flagged a message - it shared some promotional feed from his opponent... The Unholy One jolted back up, grabbed the dark steel gauntlets he had left on a table by the mirror, and was about to touch the mirror. Charon Death abruptly stood in her father's path...

Charon Death: Dad, sometimes you go too far with these mind games. Remember that you are still influenced by the Unholy Darkness; it can and will undo all the work done to maintain some sense of sanity. I NEED TO HEAR...

Image
DS: HEAR WHAT?!!!!

Charon Death: Your purpose....

DS: There is a whole lot of shit going on here, but trust me, I am not walking away from it. A bit of this is for my own personal gain, and it's reminiscent of my past. However, if I keep my past locked up and don't embrace its existence —good or bad —I am truly lost. That is why Charon....

Charon Death: I see. One last thing, what is the fuel for this thing?

DS: I have to go.... please let me go, Charon. Rickey Tennet is calling for me... and I shall answer heh.

Charon Death stared at her father for a few minutes - both of their eyes were aglow with a red, crimson flame... but that was put aside as she noticed that her father's adrenaline was high. She remembered back in the day how they also fought in the ring. The Evil Intensity that permeated within BOTH of their souls.... the rush..... and with that, Charon moved off to the side to allow her father back into the world of the SHOOT Project.
