Entrance Description: “No Rest For The Wicke” by Cage The Elephant starts up over the PA system, as the crowd explodes for the man known as “The Queen City Hitman”. Samantha Coil: Now introducing from Tokyo, Japan by the way of his hometown, The Queen City…Charlotte , North Carolina... TMB comes out from behind the curtains wearing Black and White MMA shorts and boots. He tops that off by wearing a Grey North Carolina Tar Heels Hoodie with a towel over his head & his forearms and fists taped up. On his fist and forearm tape you see the words “Dark Sinner”. Black hardly looks out from the hoodie as he walks toward the ring. He stops and cracks his knuckles before raising his hands in the air. Samantha Coil: He is “The Queen City Hitman”… TMB continues to make his way down the ramp way, soaking up the reaction from the crowd that are tossed his way. TMB makes his way up the steel steps and steps over the top rope and doesn't even look at the ref as he makes his way to the middle of the ring. He folds his arms as Carolina Blue and White streamers flood the ring, Japanese style. TMB bows to the fans and goes to the corner as Ring Hands start to clean the streamers from the ring. Samantha Coil: This is THOMAS MANCHESTER BLACK! Once the ref is finished, TMB takes off his hoodie and tosses it to a ring hand, before slinking down into a sitting position in the corner. Black eyes remain focused as he waits for the match to begin. |

This Footage Has Been Provided by The SHOOT Project Library In Order To Explain The Story of Thomas Manchester Black...Pt. One
:: The scene opens to a video clip of a violent bar room brawl that happened in 2007. As the cameras scan over the destruction, you can hear the sound of the news report that followed the incident. ::
“Just Moments ago police were called to this strip club after a brawl broke out. Reports says that OPW Superstar, Thomas Manchester Black, got into a verbal fight with a patron which resulted in over 40,000 dollars in damages and resulted in 3 men sent to the hospital and two of them with 2 to 4 broken ribs the other man is still intensive care.”
:: The scene quickly switches to TMB standing in front of a judge in court being sentenced. The scene fades to the picture of TMB sitting in his cell. His faded orange jumpsuit clashing against the grey bars of what has been his home. Black doesn’t even lift his head as he whispers his words. ::
It’s been one year and some would say that it is one year lost to me forever. Some even say that I should regret that the time that was taken away.
:: The scene switches to TMB standing in “The Yard” his eyes fixed on the outside of the fence. His mind wander his surroundings. ::
But me…I’ve learned to see it as a gift.
:: The scene now switches to Thomas in the prison gym. The big man is working with the various free weights in the gym as the prison guards watch on. ::
A gift that has given me focus…
:: TMB peels down the top half of his jumpsuit and ties it around his waist. As the cameras scan around his body, you can see the scars that cover the muscles. Some deep and some look like light scratches. Other then the scars, you can see some stitches and Tattoos. Each mark a reminder…each mark a lesson learned. ::
Concentration and a strength of mind. A strength of mind that could equal great rewards...
:: The scene switches to Thomas punishing a punching bag. With each shot, you can see the vibrations flow through the bag. With his last punch Thomas steps away and lets the bag sway back and forth. ::
Or great suffering depending on which end you're on.
:: Its silent for a moment as the bag continues to swing. Then all of a sudden a chair slams into the bag sending it off its hook and flying into the nearby wall. There camera pans to where the chair shot came from and you see TMB with the chair dangling in his hands. ::
Which end will you be on, SHOOT Project? Which end will you be on?
:: Black lets the chair drop from his hands as he leaves the scene and everything fades to black. ::
This Footage Has Been Provided by The SHOOT Project Library In Order To Explain The Story of Thomas Manchester Black...Pt. Two
:: The scene opens to TMB being escorted down a prison hallway. The wrist and ankle shackles press his faded orange jumpsuit against him with each step. There is a crew of 6 guards, 3 on each side. Black doesn't even lift his head as he begins to speak. ::
They say that in the box, time has a weird way with your mind. Seconds begin to feel like minutes and minutes begin to feel like hours.
:: As the group escorts TMB down the hallway, many of the other prisoners step away from their bars as he walks by. The ones that stay by their bars, pray, because they know where Black is heading. ::
You are stuck in a nothing room and the key...the key is to occupy yourself.
:: The group comes to a cage door. The group stops waiting for the do to slide open. ::
If left unoccupied, the mind folds in on itself and the darkness and silence gives way to the voices in your head. The heat and lack of light begins to play tricks on you.
:: As the cage door slides open, the group notices that Black is not moving. The guard in charge barks out orders for TMB to move. The big man doesn't even budge...not even one inch. Behind him TMB can hear the electronic prodes go on behind him. ::
And after a while the voices in your head will begin to eat you alive, day by day...
:: Thomas begins to grin as they threaten him one more time. As the guards behind be cock back their prodes, TMB begins to move. The guards mumble under their breathe as they realize that Black was jerking their chain. ::
But I've learned to control the voices...and in turn the voices like me. They guide me. They motivate me.
:: The group walk out to the bright, sandy area of the person yard. In the middle of the yard under blazing sunlight is a cement shed. As the guards open the door, you can feel the burst of heat come from within. TMB slowly walks in the dark shed and sits indian style in the middle of the shed. ::
The voices have convinced me to love my thoughts. To love what I'm thinking. But you here in SHOOT Project...may not like my thoughts as much. But then again, if I was you...I wouldn't either.
:: The guards takes his shackles off and shake their heads as they close the door on him. And soon the scene becomes like TMB's vision for the next 2 weeks...black. ::
This Footage Has Been Provided by The SHOOT Project Library In Order To Explain The Story of Thomas Manchester Black...Pt. Three
:: The scene opens to "The Box" that TMB was placed in. The camera crew walks up to the slit made to give TMB his food. They slide the slit open and you can just barely make out Black's figure inside. TMB tilts his head and you can see the beads of sweat drip down. ::
For the first few years of my life, I had no name...I was just a number. You see My mother died while giving birth to me. At the same time a few blocks away from the hospital, my father was shot trying to rob a CVS. I was born into the world as alone as I am in this box.
:: The scene switch to photos from the incident. You see the young man that shall be known as TMB being carried off to a foster home. ::
From family to family, I was known as Case #4572. That was until he came into my life.
:: The clips switches to the profile pic of a man in uniform. Under the picture it said First Recon Marine. Jayson Black. Retired. ::
Jayson Black named me Thomas Manchester Black after his two brothers. The man believed in discipline. He also believed that if gotten young enough, you can train a person to be a weapon. A solider...a attack dog. Some of these scars you see, were from the abuse that I was put through to fit in his image.
:: The clips now show a young TMB being put through brutal training...even by Marine standards. You can see TMB in different hospital rooms, different injuries. And after each scene you see TMB back to the training...no break, no rest. ::
Defendo, Defendu, Kapap & Systema. My body bruised from learning Savate & Muay Thai. I remember trying to explain to police that my leg was broken by falling off my bike, not by having the inexperience to not properly guard my legs when sparring.
:: Thomas stands up and walks towards the slit. His eyes are very focus. The time in "The Box" hasn't shaken him. He seems patience...like an animal in cage waiting fro the zookeepers to make a mistake. One little mistake. ::
Mental and physical abuse. It's funny he trained me to read people's movements. Their actions. It got to the point where people's words meant nothing. My "father" died before he could unload his little project onto the Marines. All I knew was action, so I did what anyone would do. I became a fighter. Any and everywhere. That is until I met Nick "Ledge" Ledgerwood. You introduced me to a whole other world of violence. Pro Wrestling.
:: You can slightly make out a grin spreading across, Black's face. ::
I spent the recent part of my years in Japan and wrestle their garbage style. Until one of their living legends introduced me to technical wrestling. Which is a art I championed over to the hardcore landscape of OPW. That was up until my inner demons got the better of me in a bar room brawl. And now once again, I'm a number in the system. But this time I'm ready...and when I get out, and trust me, I will get out. I hope that SHOOT Project is ready. New comers to Vets. those making there names and those who have their names. I hope you are ready for a reality check...because to a man that has spent most of his life as a number...a name means nothing.
:: As the camera crew backs away from the slit, they bump into a crew of guards. ::
Guard 1: Mr. Black...it seems as if today is your lucky day. Looks like someone wants to take you off our hands.
:: The camera crew almost looks in shock at who would want this man out early. Of course he has his eyes set on SHOOT Project, but the Front Office would take that big of a risk. As the guards open the door and the man walks out, he can see the wonder on their face. In a moment of twisted kindness, he points towards the wall in "The Box" behind him. As the the camera pans towards the now visible wall, they see the answer to their question written in blood. ::

|
Finisher Description
|
1. The W2N aka Wake 2 Nightmare - A Black Hole Slam into a Andaconda Vice
2. The Death Row Stretch - TMB has his opponent on his shoulders. He walks around for a moment before dropping them stomach first over his knee. TMB then slowly stalks his opponent. Black locks in a headlock on and starts to fire knees to the opponent’s head. Then Black floats over into a bridging arm triangle choke.
3. The QCS aka Queen City Stomp - TMB drops his opponent face-first to the mat, and then hooks his left ankle behind his right knee, bending the opponent 's right leg around it to hold it in place, and stepping over it to turn it into a reverse Indian Deathlock. Thomas then reaches down and grabs both of his opponent 's arms at the biceps, pulling back on them and sliding his hands down so that he holds onto his opponent 's arms by the wrist. Black then lifts his opponent up with a foot on the small of his back, stretching him with a surfboard variation, and then quickly takes his foot off of his back, stomping on the back of his opponent 's head as he releases his arms, driving the opponent face-first to the mat.

Title History
|
|
|
Thomas Manchester Black is Black mixed with Samoan. He is very cool and calm. Focused and calculating. Black doesn’t believe in wasted movements. Most of it stems from the turning that he has gone through. He is the product of his history. Technical wrestling wise Black is like Brock Lesner. He uses his size and strength to increase the impact and pain normally given in regular holds. He will do alot of high impact moves focusing on the neck and back. Making him a perfect mix of Technical and Powerhouse wrestling.
TMB is a mix of Randy Orton’s Attitude, the look of “Rampage” Jackson, the moveset of CM Punk and the intensity of Chris Benoit. |
